Underfloor Heating Pressure Test Certificate

Do you install underfloor heating? Need a better way of documenting where the manifolds are and which circuits go where? Want to provide your customers with a test certificate? Check this form out!

Description

If you install underfloor heating systems then you'll know how important it is to complete a pressure test before the floor is laid over it. If a leak appears after the floor has been installed then it's either going to be an installer's fault or someone else's (floor layers fault or manufacturing fault)

If you haven't documented your testing procedure then it's very difficult to prove that it's not your fault. With this form in place though, your installer would be able to provide your customer with a document to show that the pressure test was completed and has been signed off.

If a leak occurs in the future it will be much easier for you to prove that the leak hasn't occurred due to an installer error which will take a whole load of stress away from you and will help your customer prove that the issue could be a manufacturing issue (for example).

This form will also be extremely useful in the future should you ever need to complete a fault diagnosis as it records which manifolds and circuits feed specific areas.

Not to mention just how professional your company will look when it can provide your customer with a branded, detailed report on the underfloor heating circuit adding value to your service.

What the form documents -

- Document up to 5 manifolds with up to 12 circuits for each manifold.
- Record which floor the manifold is situated on.
- Specify which area each circuit supplies, these are multiple choice questions, however, if a scenario doesn't suit you're given the opportunity to manually type the area.
- Record whether or not the manifold passed the pressure test or not.
- Take an image of each manifold for future reference.
- The testing engineer is able to document any additional comments.
- The testing engineer will also need to sign the document to say that they completed the testing procedure in accordance with the expected procedure.
