This instantly adds the relevant item to the job with it’s Item Code, Name and Price, significantly speeding up this workflow.Items can be scanned into a job before it begins, as they’re used on-site, or once the job’s done.
Previously, in order for a ServiceM8 user to scan an item into a job, they’d need to create the item in their account, then pair its barcode with the item.
To make it easy for our customers to use products from their preferred suppliers, ServiceM8 introduced Smart Barcode Scanning — the ability to scan any barcode, and ServiceM8 will search supplier records to try to match it. A matched result will populate the Item Code, Name & Price in ServiceM8, saving on data entry and making it easy to use new products.
