Managing API access for third-party integrations just got simpler. You can now generate and manage your own API keys directly within ServiceM8, eliminating the need to convert your account to a Partner account for basic API access.

How to Access API Keys

1. Go to Settings in your ServiceM8 account
2. Look for the 'API Access' button
3. Click to open the API key management interface
4. Create new keys or manage existing ones as needed

Managing Your API Keys

The API key interface allows you to:

• Generate new API keys for different integrations
• Give descriptive names to your keys for easy identification
• Revoke keys when they're no longer needed

Security & Access

API key creation is restricted to Business Owner only, ensuring proper security controls are in place. When actions are performed using an API key, they'll be labeled with the key name in the Diary (e.g., 'Integration-Key created this note').
